2. Learning Outcomes
- Our programmes are designed to develop English language proficiency, communication skills and learner confidence.
- Individual learning outcomes may vary depending on factors including attendance, participation, practice, existing proficiency and learner engagement.
- Thrive Academy does not guarantee a particular examination score, certification outcome, academic result, employment outcome or level of fluency within a specified period.
3. Enrolment and Fees
- Registration is confirmed subject to completion of the applicable enrolment process and payment of the prescribed fees.
- Fees, payment schedules, discounts, offers and programme-specific terms will be communicated at the time of registration.
- Applicable taxes, where required by law, may be charged separately.
4. Classes and Attendance
- Learners are expected to attend classes regularly and participate actively.
- Missed classes, make-up sessions, rescheduling and transfer requests will be governed by the rules applicable to the particular programme.
- Thrive Academy may modify class schedules, faculty allocation or delivery arrangements where reasonably necessary to maintain the quality and continuity of the programme.
5. Online Learning
- Where programmes are delivered online, learners are responsible for maintaining suitable internet connectivity and access to the required device, software or communication platform.
- Thrive Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by the learner’s internet connection, device, third-party platform or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
6. Learning Materials & Intellectual Property
- All course materials, worksheets, assessments, presentations, videos, lesson plans, digital resources, activities, designs, characters, logos, written content and other educational resources provided by Thrive Academy remain the intellectual property of Thrive Academy or their respective owners.
- They may not be copied, reproduced, republished, resold, distributed, recorded or commercially used without prior written permission.
7. Assessments and Certificates
- Where applicable, learners may receive assessments, progress reports or certificates in accordance with the requirements of the relevant programme.
- Completion of a Thrive Academy programme does not automatically constitute an external Cambridge English qualification unless the learner has separately registered for and successfully completed the relevant Cambridge English examination or assessment.
8. Learner Conduct
- Thrive Academy is committed to providing a respectful, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Learners, parents and other participants are expected to communicate respectfully with teachers, staff and fellow learners.
- Bullying, harassment, abusive behaviour, discrimination, disruption of classes or misuse of learning platforms may result in appropriate action, including suspension or termination of participation.
9. Children’s Programmes
- For programmes involving children, parents or lawful guardians are responsible for providing accurate information, completing required consent processes and supporting appropriate communication with Thrive Academy.
- Thrive Academy will take reasonable measures to protect children’s personal information and maintain a safe educational environment.
10. Photographs, Videos & Testimonials
- Where photographs, videos, testimonials or learner achievements are intended to be used for promotional or public communication, Thrive Academy will obtain the appropriate permission or consent where required.
- For children, such permission will be obtained from a parent or lawful guardian where applicable.
11. Third-Party Services
- Thrive Academy may use third-party services such as payment gateways, video-conferencing platforms, learning management systems, communication services and other technology providers.
- Use of such services may also be subject to the respective provider’s terms and privacy policies.
12. Changes to Programmes
- Thrive Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme schedules, faculty, curriculum, delivery format or learning resources where necessary.
- Where a significant change materially affects an enrolled learner, Thrive Academy will communicate the change through the appropriate channel.
13. Refunds & Cancellations
- Refunds, cancellations, transfers and withdrawals are governed by the specific refund or cancellation policy applicable to the programme purchased.
